że nikt w Białym Domu nie analizuje równie uważnie tragicznych konsekwencji humanitarnych dla ludności
cywilnej Iraku, całego regionu i stabilności politycznej reszty świata).

Ale jeśli chodzi o poszukiwanie 'casus belli", to dawna spółka Carlyle Busha seniora, byłego szefa CIA
- z ojcem Ben Ladena i samym Osamą Ben Ladenem na szczęście" wciąż przynosi mafii zbrojeniowo-naftowej
Białego Domu w tej materii"profity".

Nawet sama CIA zmuszona była oficjalnie zaprotestować przeciw łączeniu Iraku z działalnością

Bin Laden Tape Missing the Missing Link

The Al Qaida: watching the media salivate. Alleged tape does not show clear link
between Saddam and bin Laden. And so, the U.S and British media pounced on the fact
that the tape proves that “infamous link”. Strange that no one mentions that bin Laden
also took a shot at Saddam’s Regime itself in the same tape.

While the broadcast message declared solidarity with our "brothers in Iraq," it made no
mention of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and even denounced his socialist party as "infidels."

Let’s review how this day began:
It’s Tuesday – just an ordinary day in Jihad land. Suddenly, the satellite phone rings
in a cave somewhere in Afghanistan, Pakistan, or for what it’s worth – the Paris suburbs.
Osama bin Laden picks up.

“Yes?”

“bin Laden, we have a problem: It seems America is hell-bent on having their war with Iraq and – “

“You mean that secular government just east of Iran?”

”That’s the one. Anyway, some of their allies are not ready to get on board because there’s
no link to you, sir. In fact, France, Germany and a few others are even blocking NATO attempts
to defend Turkey in case war breaks out. I guess Colin Powell’s presentation to the UN didn’t
sway many people over.”

“So, you’re saying that in order to convince the world that American is right to go kill
Muslims in Iraq, they need a clear link to me??”

“That is correct sir.”

“Gimme that tape player!! If they want a good connection to me just to kill Muslims, then by Allah,
I’ll give them one. Get Al Jazzera on the phone for another exclusive!”

Okay, we doubt this conversation actually took place, but it makes as much sense as what is
going on in the Middle East these days. The folks against the war say there’s no clear link
between Iraq and Al Qaida. And so a tape conveniently pops up, by bin Laden himself, (apparently)
showing that “yes! We have a link!”

You’ve got to give credit to Al Jazzera Television. To make an audio tape make world headlines
HOURS before it is even broadcast to anyone in any form beats ABC’s Michael Jackson exclusive
any day of the week.
"You will be seeing this as the day unfolds, where once again he speaks to the people of Iraq and talks
about their struggle and how he is in partnership with Iraq," Powell told lawmakers.
Stop scratching your heads. It’s common for a Secretary of State to sit in front of Congress and report
details of a television-aired tape more than 8 hours before anyone sees it, right?

Baghdad of course denies any link to Al Qaida, but who cares. Since satellite dishes are banned in Iraq,
few if any heard the alleged bin Laden broadcast, anyway.

The report of the tape found it’s way to the Al Jazzera web site at 20:33 GMT on Feb. 11, 2003.
According to our Middle-East translator, the tape makes no mention of solidarity to Hussein, but
to the Iraqi people in the struggle against the coming “raid on Iraq”.

Bin Laden said, “the United States is trying to occupy Iraq and realizing what he called the
‘Israel dream’, by creating the big Israeli state.”

In the tape, bin Laden (allegedly) warns Arab nations not to take the sides of the invaders.
A senior State Department official, who spoke later to the French Press on condition of anonymity,
said that a person believed to be bin Laden speaks about having a "common cause and partnership"
with Iraq and the Iraqi people.

The official, who said US intelligence sources in the Gulf had learned of the message, was not aware if the
tape contained any specific new anti-US threats.

Iraq dismisses US claims of bin Laden link
Baghdad accuses US of finding pretext for war as NATO members due to reconvene
to heal rift over Iraq.

 
BAGHDAD - Iraq quickly dismissed American attempts to
establish a link between terror mastermind Osama bin Laden and Baghdad as no more than a pretext
for Washington to launch an attack.
"The desperate bid by the US administration to establish a connection between Iraq and al-Qaeda is part of
a policy to find an excuse to launch an offensive against Iraq," Salem al-Qubaissi, head of an Iraqi
parliamentary committee on international affairs, said.

The Americans had earlier insisted that a message broadcast by the Al-Jazeera Arab satellite television network
and believed to have come from bin Laden, was clear proof of al-Qaeda's links with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

The speaker called on Muslims to launch suicide attacks and defend Iraq against a possible US onslaught.

State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said the tape proved bin Laden and al-Qaeda backed Saddam Hussein.
"He threatens everybody in the Arab world except Saddam Hussein, he says he wants to fight with Saddam Hussein,
" Boucher told Al-Jazeera. "This does confirm that bin Laden and Saddam Hussein seem to find common cause together."

Qubaissi said the United States had mobilized the full range of its security services "to find a link between
Iraq and al-Qaeda, but they have failed."

He maintained that such accusations were "designed to deceive US public opinion, which rejects any aggression,
and world opinion, which is beginning to understand US plans for Iraq."
Baghdad has repeatedly denied that it has any ties to al-Qaeda, which the United States holds responsible for the
September 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington.
Ruling Baath Party official Saad Qassem Hammudi described the US attempt to connect Iraq and terrorism as
"a diversionary tactic to hide the failure of the US and British governments to prove that Iraq possesses weapons
of mass destruction."

In the taped message, the speaker had issued a fatwa, or Muslim religious decree, in which he said: "Under current
circumstances, there is nothing wrong in Muslim interests converging with those of the socialists in the battle
against the Crusaders, even if we believe and declare that the socialists are apostates," he added.

The speaker took a broad swipe at all socialists, saying they were "infidels wherever they are, in Baghdad or
elsewhere".
He also said: "This Crusader war concerns all Muslims, whether the (Iraqi Baath) socialist party or Saddam remain
in power or not."
Meanwhile, NATO members were due to reconvene on Wednesday morning in a bid to heal the rift over Iraq which has
precipitated the biggest crisis in the alliance's history - but there seemed little hope of an early settlement
as France, Germany and Belgium stick to their guns.

NATO ambassadors faced a difficult task when they sat down again at alliance headquarters in Brussels for a third
day of negotiations to persuade the European trio to approve the proposal to provide military support for Turkey.

A brief 20-minute session of the 19-member alliance's policy-making North Atlantic Council (NAC) on Tuesday night
confirmed what had been clear from marathon informal talks. NATO spokesman Yves Brodeur said:"We are not yet in a
position where NATO allies can... agree on a decision. More work will have to be done."

High-level contacts between the member states continued throughout the night with ambassadors due to reconvene at
0845 GMT Wednesday.

The latest failure came after US Secretary of State Colin Powell accused the three countries of using NATO as a
political tool to advance their anti-war agenda.
"France and Germany and Belgium at the moment are using their blocking power... to signal their disagreement with
the approach that we need," said Powell in Washington.

The Europeans are arguing that by agreeing to launch NATO military planning over Iraq, the alliance would send the
"wrong signal" at a time when diplomacy is continuing at the United Nations.

The United States has presented a package of proposals for a NATO role in a threatened war on Iraq, including the
deployment of Patriot anti-missile batteries, AWACS surveillance planes and chemical-biological protection units
to Turkey, NATO's only Muslim member and the only one to share a border with Iraq.

It also includes proposals to allow the redeployment of NATO troops, notably from Europe and the Balkans, in the event
of a war in Iraq.

One possible compromise could be to concentrate purely on the support measures for Turkey, said one official, implying
that the proposal for troop redeployment could be reviewed.
Elsewhere, diplomats were gearing up for a crucial UN Security Council meeting on Friday, at which members will hear
the latest report by chief weapons inspectors Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei.

France, Russia and China, among the five permanent members of the council, want strengthened inspections to determine
if Iraq has banned nuclear, chemical or biological weapons.
The Americans dismissed as "a diversion" a French proposal for tougher more intrusive arms inspections, but Iraqi UN
Ambassador Mohammed al-Douri welcomed the French initiative as "courageous."
